Our partners include farmers, harvesters, processors, and formulators with the goal of bringing high-value ingredients to the market for functional foods, nutritional supplements, skincare & cosmetics, and other specialty applications.
A3 participates and sells across this continuum of business interests and partners with farmers, families, cooperatives, manufacturers, and marketers, working to amplify the presence of Aronia, the amazing American-grown superfruit.
Aronia Farmers
A3 has a network of more than 30 farms, all committed to supplying their harvests for our pursuits. This North American farm network is led by A3 Founder, Blake Johnson, who has a 20-acre Aronia farm in North Dakota.
Aronia Suppliers
A3 participates as a seller or supplier of raw Aronia berries or frozen Aronia berries to single strength juice to concentrated juice to juice powder to high concentration extracts of liquid and powder to meet product ingredient specifications.
Aronia Distribution
A3 has a network of distribution partners with certified vendor status, including a number of top supplement and food companies, such as Orgenetics and other B2B and B2C partners benefiting from the A3 supply network.
Aronia Formulators
A3 has developed a number of consumer product categories with verifiable health claims in a variety of product formats including beverage, carbonated beverage, capsules, effervescent tablets, shots, bars, gummies and other chewable supplement delivery forms.

Aronia Melanocarpa
Aronia or Aronia Melanocarpa is a perennial shrub native to North America. It is found predominately in rangeland from the Northeast to the Great Lakes area to the Great Plains and as far south as the Appalachians and Nebraska. Aronia can grow to a height of two or three meters. The fruit or berries (technically pomes) grow in clusters of about a dozen purplish-black berries up to a centimeter in diameter. Aronia Melanocarpa is a perennial shrub with rich green foliage and attractive white flowers that appear from May to June. Aronia berries are pinkish-green, while developing through long summer days and are harvested when they are a deep purple between August and September.
Aronia Melanocarpa is one of 16 species in the genus Aronia that is in the rose family. Aronia Melanocarpa, also called black chokeberry, is the most frequently cultivated Aronia species.
